They were looking for a specification that would allow end users to easily apply the film to the screen with minimal risk of failure.
We improved the release liner of the screen protective film by switching to an easy-to-tear material and adding fine perforations along the edges.
This allows consumers to cut the liner at any desired position and gradually apply the film while aligning it with the screen, making the application process easier and significantly reducing the risk of failure.
This perforation technology for controlled liner cutting is a unique technology of CSTEC.
