Fray-Free Processing of Mesh Materials

Customer's Challenge

The customer wanted a mesh material that easily frays to be processed without fraying.

CSTEC's Proposal

In conventional die-cutting, mesh materials often develop frayed edges after processing. To solve this problem, we applied heat to the die, allowing the mesh to be cut without fraying.
This technology can be used not only for mesh materials but also for heat-sealing such as polyethylene bags. CSTEC can handle custom-shaped bags that are difficult for standard bag manufacturers to process. We can also manufacture bags in a cleanroom environment.
