Customer's Challenge

The customer needed many precise holes in a polyimide film for a circuit board mask, with clean hole edges and no tapering.

CSTEC's Proposal

We carefully adjusted the die to reduce burrs and distortion and achieve high-precision processing. The finished product performed well when masking, and the customer was very satisfied with the result.
Although it is difficult to completely remove burrs in die-cutting, they can be minimized through process adjustments. UV laser processing can be used to further reduce burrs.
