The customer needed to apply component mounting tape to a panel with precise positioning.
The tape was first partially mounted on a release liner. As the tape pieces were small, we optimized the release characteristics to make handling easier for the customer and simplify their assembly process.
Although the part itself was a simple square shape, its small size made accurate placement difficult for the customer. By carefully listening to the customer's requirements and performing multiple alignment and processing steps, we were able to create a product that helped streamline their manufacturing process.
