【MOVIE】A case study of low-leach adhesion enabled by molecular bonding through plasma treatment

Customer's Challenge

Customer wanted to achieve low-leach adhesion.

CSTEC's Proposal

Silicone rubber and PDMS can be treated with plasma to enable molecular bonding.
For silicone rubber, materials can be bonded without the need for molds, even in small-lot production.
Additionally, for PDMS and glass bonding, it is possible to create microfluidic channels with no leaching as well as deformable (flexible) flow paths.
