Proposal and Case Studiesof Tapes and Film
Customer wants end-to-end production covering the processing, lamination, and packaging of microfluidic channels with circuit patterns.
To manufacture microfluidic devices, it is necessary to produce the channel substrate, the base plastic plate, and the double-sided adhesive tape used for bonding them together. For the channel substrate, we used a CCD camera press system to adjust positioning during processing, and then bonded it to the plastic plate using double-sided adhesive tape with microchannel patterns formed by laser processing.
For packaging, we designed and manufactured custom trays in-house, allowing us to deliver fully assembled products.
At CSTEC, we can handle a wide range of processes by working with customer-supplied materials. In addition to processing, we offer assembly, deaeration, coating, lot marking by ink-jet printing, tray packaging, and aluminum pouch packaging.
