Customer's Challenge

Customer would like to modify PDMS (silicone), which is inherently hydrophobic, to achieve hydrophilicity.

CSTEC's Proposal

By incorporating additives rather than using plasma treatment or surface coating, we enabled the entire PDMS matrix to become hydrophilic.

Mr. S： "This is quite a challenging lamination...how do you think, Mr. I?"

Mr. I： "This is tough, though… I think it would be better if the customer could relax the standards a little."

Mr. S： "Is there any way to achieve this work? Please!"

(Thanks to Mr.I's efforts, we managed to meet the standards - but the next process will be tough... Let's ask Mr.T's help!)
Mr. S： "I would like to ask your help to overcome this level of precision..."

Mr. T： "That is really pushing it, however, I will do my best!"

Thanks to the factory's hard work, we were able to deliver a product that satisfied the customer.
