Microarray with a large number of wells

Customer's Challenge

Customer would like to produce microarrays with a large number of wells.

CSTEC's Proposal

We have created microarray with a large number of wells by attaching a laser processed sheet, perforated with multiple holes, onto a commercially available single well microplate.
Using our laser processing technology, we can fabricate microarrays with freely designed hole shapes and pitches, starting from just one unit. For example, it is possible to produce a microarray with 10000 holes of 0.5 mm, or to create channel like structures.
In addition, by combining films and adhesive tapes to form microholes and attaching them to containers, glass, or films, we can easily create microarrays with innovative shapes that cannot be achieved using conventional methods.
