Fabrication of Custom-Designed Microplates

Customer's Challenge

Customer was looking for a company that can manufacture custom shaped microplates rather than standard products.

CSTEC's Proposal

Standard microplates are available in many formats including 6-well, 24-well, 96-well, 384-well and 1536-well plates. However, manufacturing custom microplates typically requires expensive mold fabrication which leads to high initial costs. From a customer perspective, it is often difficult to cover these costs during research and development or early stage projects. Using our technology, we can produce non-standard custom microplates at low cost starting from a single unit.
We also offer bonding with materials such as PDMS sheets, which allowing us to create fully customized one of a kind microplates in any desired shape.
