Customer's Challenge

The customer was looking for seals that could be easily applied and removed without leaving adhesive residue on the adherend.

CSTEC's Proposal

By utilizing the self-adhesive properties of PDMS rubber, the seals stick to the adherend without leaving adhesive residue on it.
In addition, due to the chemical and heat resistance of PDMS, the seals are compatible with autoclave sterilization.
They can be used not only for biochemical applications but also for experiments which use organic solvents.
