Since its establishment in 1999, CSTEC has been responding to a wide range of requests related to film processing, tray processing, and plastic processing.
Since then, what we have valued is “Challenge” and “Speed”. These principles are also the origin of our company name, CSTEC.

Our film processing and lamination technologies enable us to offer a wide range of solutions for containers and chips used in life sciences. From a single prototype to mass production, we can also propose suitable products. Especially, for cell culture plates and microfluidic channels used in diagnostics and analysis, we can provide products tailored to your requirements through various combinations of film processing.

We can process tapes, rubber, labels, and insulators used in university laboratories and corporate research departments without molds even from a single piece. OEM manufacturing for companies dealing laboratory products is also possible. For example, sealing materials for microplates or seals and tapes for 1536 plates with fine holes can be handled comprehensively, from product processing to packaging, according to your requirements.

In automotive safety equipment, components for sensors used in peripheral monitoring require higher precision. By combining film processing with UV laser technology, we achieve burr-free, high-precision processing. For example, we can accurately process holes of several tens of microns with minimal burrs in sensing parts. OCA tapes and high-hardness hard-coated films used around panels can also be processed in a cleanroom without blocking or cracking.

All tape and film processing and lamination are handled in a cleanroom. For microfabrication that cannot be achieved with molds, we offer cost-effective mass production through combined laser and die-cutting processes. Even thin films which are difficult to handle, such as those used for sensing, can be precisely processed without burrs using UV laser technology.
Our company not only supplies high-quality, quick-turnaround die-cut processing for double-sided tapes and films, but also provides material selection proposals. We also assist with small-lot, multi-variety prototyping – from material selection to deliver.
CSTEC is here to support your product development.

In addition to precise processing of tapes and films, our laser processing machines with five-wavelength make it possible to create micro holes and shapes that were previously impossible with conventional die-cutting.
Shapes once considered unattainable or costly at the prototype level can now be processed with mass production in mind. This is made possible by our hybrid processing-combining die-cutting and laser technology.
Our equipments, including presses and lasers, use high-precision CCD cameras for correction during processing. This allows us to apply laser processing for minute part and die-cutting for other areas, enabling cost-effective, mass-production-ready micro tape and film processing.

We have a super clean room facility (ISO Class 1) which is uncommon in the world. In an extremely clean environment where there are fewer than 10 micro particles of 0.1 microns per cubic meter, we can perform processing, assembly, and lamination. This is highly appreciated by customers in the medical and scientific fields.

For example, after die-cutting of tape or film, we perform lamination processing on the workpiece. Then, we arrange the workpieces in trays, include desiccants, and package them using a vacuum sealer in aluminum bags.
All these processes can be handled by CSTEC alone. The noteworthy point is that we can design all processes and procure materials in-house, enabling quick startup and delivery.

We have established equipment and internal systems to flexibly respond to customer requests for short lead times, prototyping, and mass production.
However, the key to meet various requests is our staff’s sincere commitment to customers. We value not only the manufacturing system to deliver good products but also the human touch of face-to-face interaction. Even there is the systems, the mind of the people involved are important, so we strive daily with the motto of making customers happy and achieving short lead times.
